IAAF World Championships Moscow 2013 : Exclusive Interview with Aruban Long Jumper Quincy Breell

Recently in Moscow Quincy Breell competed at the IAAF World Championships in the long jump event.
Duck Blabber had the opportunity to have a chat with Quincy about his performance at the IAAF World Championships.

DUCK BLABBER: How did the qualifying competition go on day 5 of the IAAF World Championships?

Quincy Breell: Well to be honest I wasn't 100% healthy . I had a cold, but I didn't want to come all the way here and not compete because of bad luck like this. Now I know to better take car of myself taking more vitamins etc.

DUCK BLABBER: How were your emotions on the day of the competition?

Quincy Breell: I was pretty nervous because it was my first World Championship and I was surrounded by the best long jumpers in the world so it was a lot of pressure on me to represent my island to the best of my ability.

DUCK BLABBER: What are your thoughts on not making it to the finals?

Quincy Breell: I am not gonna let this break me, I am going to take it as good motivation to continue pushing forward to reach the level I want to be at..

DUCK BLABBER:What are your next plans?

Quincy Breell: Well I normally take a month long break , but this time I am not going to do that. I am just going to continue training, stay focuses so next season I can come back stronger. There are talks of different training camps in the USA and maybe even a scholarship. But for now I am just going to stay positive and work hard. Next World Championship will be in March 2014 in Poland (indoor). God willing I make it I want to be allot better than this time.

Duck Blabber wishes Quincy Breell the best of luck with his training & will be keeping a close eye on his future competitions.
