3 Aruban billiard players to compete at Pan American Championships 8 Ball & 10 Ball in Buenos Aires, Argentina


Upcoming Thursday August 22th, 2013 three Aruban Billiard players will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina where they will compete in the Pan American Championships 8 Ball & 10 Ball. The three male athletes are Gunnar Leonardo, Angelo Tromp & Richard Wolff, all three of them have the goal of doing a good job in the Pan American Championships with eyes on qualifying  for the Billiard World Championships next year.

Angelo Tromp is currently Aruba's National Champion, while Gunnar Leonardo is ranked #1 in 8 Ball & #1 ranking in the APT Tour (Aruba Pool Tour), lastly Richard Wolff is ranked #2 in APT. The sport of billiard is a big dedication that exceeds many hours of practice, expesialy if you want to reach a high level acceptable to compete in a Pan American Championship & surely a World Championship.

Seeing that each sport & each athlete has a right to explore as well as magnify the level & knowledge, the grant Commission apported with substantial help so the three athletes can compete in a championship like the Pan American Championships where the best of the whole continent come together to fight for the grand prize.
